Health information technology in Vermont has come a long way in just the last few years. Hundreds of eligible professionals are working with VITL’s regional extension center to implement EHRs and achieve meaningful use. Hospitals and other health care organizations have advanced EHRs. And a growing number of providers are using the Vermont Health Information Exchange to communicate with each other.

Now, it’s time to take health IT to the next level, by increasing the use of mobile devices, further involving patients, expanding data sharing, and preparing to achieve Stage 2 of meaningful use. VITL Summit ’12 will help you and your organization accomplish all this and more, with four breakout session tracks that focus on in-depth topics and a hands-on half-day preconference session.

There will also be plenty of opportunities for networking – seeing old friends and making new connections – during a reception on the eve of the conference, as well as over meals in the exhibit hall.

About the VITL Summit

The VITL Summit is an annual educational conference for physicians, nurses, other clinicians, practice managers, quality improvement professionals, hospital CIOs and IT staff, and anyone interested in electronic health records systems and health information technology. The VITL Summit is organized by Vermont Information Technology Leaders, Inc. (VITL), a not-for-profit organization that is facilitating the implementation of electronic health records systems and health information exchange in Vermont. In this short video, exhibitors and attendees of past VITL Summits discuss the value they have received by participating in the conference.
 

Additional Conference Information

Group Discount Available: When three or more people register as a group for the same registration type, a discount of $10 off is applied to each registration.

Preconference session registration rate: $15

Major credit cards accepted. Main conference registration includes breakfast, lunch, refreshment breaks, and conference materials.

Cancellation, Refund and Transfer Policy: Registered attendees may transfer their conference registration to another person within the same organization at any time using the online conference registration system. Paid attendees may cancel their registration and request a refund by August 31, 2012. A $5 cancellation fee will be charged for each attendee. No refunds will be made after August 31, 2012.
