VITL Appoints Chief Financial Officer

BURLINGTON, VT –Vermont Information Technology Leaders (VITL) has named Nancy Rowden Brock as chief financial officer (CFO). In this position, Brock will be responsible for human resources, budgeting, auditing, financial reporting, grants management, contract review, and act as liaison to various state agencies.

Brock joins VITL from World Learning, an accredited educational institution that provides education, exchange and development programs in over 70 countries. She also served as chief financial officer at St. Michael’s College, a private residential undergraduate college in Vermont. In both positions she was responsible for areas in addition to traditional finance functions, including human resources, risk management, facilities, information technology and student financial aid. Ms. Brock has also worked in the banking sector, as chief financial officer for Green Mountain Power Corporation, and CFO of Rock of Ages Corporation. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dartmouth College, and earned an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan. Brock is president of the board of the Vermont Community Loan Fund, and serves on the board of Vermont Public Radio.
