VITL Appoints Healthcare Data Analyst

BURLINGTON, VT – Vermont Information Technology Leaders, Inc. (VITL) has named Leanne Shulman as its new healthcare data analyst. In this position, Shulman is responsible for performing complex data analyses—using VITL’s data warehouse—for internal business and client use. She will also provide problem solving capabilities for VITL’s clinical analysis and process improvement procedures.

Shulman joined VITL after working as a public health analyst for the Vermont Department of Health, where she developed reports on cancer prevention and control in Vermont, assisted in evaluation of the Cancer Control Initiative, and worked with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to improve data quality and reporting.

Shulman graduated with a Master of Science in Biostatistics from the University of Vermont. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience, with a minor in economics, from Middlebury College. Shulman resides in Burlington with her significant other Ben and their dog Delta. In her spare time she enjoys running and cross-country skiing.
